Brooks Roy @ Two Months…

Standard

Isn’t he just the cutest little thing ever? Well, I sure think so. Oh, and did I mention he is the best baby in the world! He sleeps, eats, laughs, plays, and loves like no other! He is seriously the best little boy a momma could ever ask for. I think we are both in love if I must say so myself!

Caroline and Brooks

Standard

So this week we (I) did the unthinkable…I took Caroline (our chocolate lab puppy) to the groomer for a full spa day and a shave down! Yes, we shaved our lab! We wanted to bring her in some this winter and this was recommend to cut 95% of her shedding down. She has an amazing coat and looks beautiful. She has done really well being in the house some and Stephen is like a little kid in the candy store since having her welcomed into the house!

Brooks is now 5 weeks old and such a sweet baby!! He is sleeping well at night (except tonite) that is why I’m catching up on blogging! But seriously, he is the sweetest little thing EVER!!!!!

Millie paints with watercolors!

Standard

Here are some pictures of Millie painting for the first time. When I was little this was one of my favorite art projects to work on. Today Millie and I both painted some pictures and hung them up all around the house. It looks like an art gallery here!! It was really neat to teach her the simple steps of painting a picture. At first she just wanted to paint with the water only….and then when she got the hang of wetting the brush and dipping it in the paint colors she went to town! She is SO smart and a quick learner. It was so fun doing a craft together and spending some much needed one on one with her while Brooks was napping. What kind of crafts do you like to do with your children??

What are YOU thankful for this year??

Standard

This year we celebrated thanksgiving with my family the week before and were in Charlotte for Thanksgiving with all of Stephen’s family!ย ๐Ÿ™‚ It was fun to see both of our families over the holidays and we are blessed beyond measure to have such awesome extended families on both sides! ย The food was absolutely amazing at both gatherings! There are so many things that I am thankful for this year so I am going to name a few:

1. Two healthy & beautiful children

2. A loving and supportive husband

3. That both Stephen and I have jobs/work

4. Good health for myself and my entire family

5. A God who is faithful

6. Healthy relationships

7. My camera ๐Ÿ™‚

8. My grandmother

9. Food

10. House
