Millie…big sister in a few days!

Standard

This morning my dad came over to take some maternity pictures of Stephen, Millie and I. We were going to take them outside near some old railroad tracks when we realized the weather was looking cold, rainy and miserable. 😦 We ended up taking them in the living room, Brooks’ nursery, and a few of Millie sitting on her new big girl bed! Dad, thank you so much for taking these pictures today. I will treasure them forever!

Daddy’s Little Helper!

Standard

Here are a couple of pictures from the other day! Since Stephen and I LOVE to have a fire during the winter, and it is getting colder, I went ahead and sent him off to pick up a truckload of firewood! Upon his return, Millie and I were waiting in the yard. 🙂 It was pretty chilly so I had Millie all decked out in her last years winter gear. She was all about helping Stephen get the wood off the truck. Naturally, he didn’t want her to get splinters so we just watched for the most part! She is SMITTEN with him as you can see….I am looking forward to having that special connection with Brooks!

Also, I posted a few pictures from last week when we grilled out pork tenderloin! It was delicious and Millie was all about helping daddy with the grill. Again, this was a dangerous activity for a 18 month old so we just watched! I hope you enjoy them as much as I do!!

**Maybe the next post will be of our sweet little mama’s boy?!**

Just Dropping In to say hi!

Standard

Hey Everyone! This weekend was a very relaxed one for us around here. Not much coming or going…just spending a lot of time with Millie and Caroline. Here are some pictures from our weekend! **Baby Brooks is already an estimated 7lbs. Last Tuesday I was at 1cm and 50% effaced. If I continue to progress Brooks will hopefully be due in 2 weeks. We are still working on the nursery. We have finished painting the room and his clothes are washed and organized. 🙂 Millie’s new big girl bed is also in the works. (Thanks to Nancy for helping me get that together)! It is set up and looks amazing in her room. Right now I have a really old quilt on it.:) I promise to post pictures soon. I just need to get in there and do it. And for those of you who have asked, I am no longer posting any belly pictures! Sorry to disappoint but I promise there is nothing to see here! Hope you all have a fantastic week.
